[jifty-devel] CompressedCSSandJS fails under FastCGI

I tracked down the issue to a lighty quirk.

I'd recommend upgrading to lighttpd version 1.4.23 or newer if possible.  Then you'll just need to fix your fastcgi configuration so that your app is mounted at "/" instead of "" (as "jifty help fastcgi" used to recommend) and add this to the fastcgi config: "fix-root-scriptname" => "enable".

If you can't upgrade lighttpd, then you'll have to use Plack middleware to workaround lighty's bug.
