Before anyone spends too much more time tweaking the files in Wifty, I 
am very close to being able to enable Wifty to use the Login plugin 
instead (which is where that code came from originally).  I was out of 
town and with limited access to a computer for the last two weeks, so I 
am behind where I wanted to be, but I have a functioning patch right now 
(which mostly involved deleting stuff from Wifty's tree).

Shall I commit what I have so we have a basis for discussion?  The 
pieces missing from the Login plugin are the same pieces missing from 
the current Wifty implementation (e.g. there is no support for 
recovering lost passwords).
